Through these awards, the magazine promotes the achievements and stories of women working within mortgage technology.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Below is a snippet of Hoskins\u2019 award article:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201c<strong>What inspired you to pursue a career in technology, and how have your experiences shaped your path?<\/strong><\/span><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">My mom was an appraiser and encouraged me to enter the profession. Once I became certified, I started my own appraisal company and was later recruited by an appraisal management company, where I worked my way up. During that time, I gained experience partnering with IT and created the development of business logic for new technology.
